The skill features automatic sentence segmentation, adjustable font sizes, and a seamless WebSocket connection that ensures low-latency page turning controlled by a secondary person or even the speaker themselves. It is specifically optimized to bridge the gap between AI-generated script generation (like ClawCut) and the actual recording phase.

Installation

To integrate ClawPrompt into your OpenClaw environment, ensure you have Node.js installed on your machine. Execute the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/jiafar/clawprompt. Once installed, navigate to the skill directory, run npm install to resolve dependencies, and launch the server with node server.js. Access the interface by navigating to http://localhost:7870 in your preferred web browser. Ensure both your computer and the mobile device used for the remote control are connected to the same local WiFi network for the WebSocket synchronization to function correctly.

Tips & Limitations

To get the best results, position the ClawPrompt browser window as close to your webcam lens as possible to minimize eye movement. If you find the text scrolling too fast, use the +/- keys on your keyboard to adjust font size and comfort. Note that this skill requires a stable local network; if the phone loses connection, simply refresh the QR code page on the computer to re-pair. Currently, it is strictly designed for local network synchronization and does not support remote over-the-internet teleprompting without VPN/tunneling.
