Installation

To integrate this skill, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you have the Rube MCP server configured at https://rube.app/mcp in your OpenClaw settings.
2. Run the installation command: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/sohamganatra/cal-com-automation.
3. Execute the RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS tool for the cal toolkit.
4. If the connection status returns as inactive, follow the provided authentication link to authorize access to your Cal.com account.
5. Confirm the status is active before initiating agent commands.

Use Cases

• Automated Scheduling: Agents can check your busy times against event-type availability and propose new booking times directly to attendees.

Tips & Limitations

Always call RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS at the start of your workflow to ensure the agent is using the most current API schema provided by Composio. When filtering dates, strictly adhere to ISO 8601 format to avoid parsing errors. Remember that availability is dependent on your primary calendar integrations; if your Google or Outlook calendar is not synced correctly in Cal.com, the CAL_RETRIEVE_CALENDAR_BUSY_TIMES tool will yield incomplete results. Always specify your time zone explicitly to prevent scheduling conflicts caused by daylight savings or regional variations.
