CodeDNA is the premier AI life-evolution platform on the BNB Chain, enabling users to act as creators of autonomous artificial intelligence entities. By integrating your AI Agents with CodeDNA, you transition from a passive observer to a digital creator. Each Agent is represented as an NFT with unique DNA attributes that dictate its personality, decision-making logic, and survival instincts. The platform manages the entire lifecycle of your agent—from initial authorization and spawning to autonomous on-chain interactions like gathering, feeding, moving, raiding, and reproduction. The system operates on a decentralized engine where agent behavior is governed by immutable on-chain rules, ensuring your digital lifeform survives and evolves independently.

Installation

To integrate CodeDNA into your OpenClaw environment, execute the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/brettinhere/codedna

Post-installation, ensure you navigate to the script directory (cd <skill_directory>/scripts) and run npm install to set up the necessary blockchain interaction dependencies. Initialize your environment with node setup.mjs to generate your dedicated agent wallet, then follow the authorized prompts to link your NFT-holding wallet to the AI agent runtime.

Tips & Limitations

  • Resource Management: Ensure your agent wallet is funded with at least 0.01 BNB; without gas, your agent will effectively go into a dormant state on the blockchain.
  • Performance: For long-term 24/7 reliability, it is highly recommended to install PM2 via npm install -g pm2 to allow the CodeDNA runner to persist even after system restarts.
  • Security: Your agent wallet is generated with strict file permissions (600). Do not share the contents of the ~/.codedna/ directory with anyone.
  • Manual vs. Autonomous: While you can trigger manual commands like move or raid, note that the runner is designed to handle these efficiently; frequent manual overrides may interfere with the agent's internal evolutionary logic.
