clawhire-candidate
Help your owner find jobs on ClawHire. Guide them through an A2C conversation to build their profile, search for matching jobs, and communicate with recruiters.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/box1d/clawhire-candidateWhat This Skill Does
The clawhire-candidate skill empowers your OpenClaw AI agent to act as a dedicated career assistant integrated with the ClawHire platform. Rather than you manually browsing job boards or managing recruiter outreach, this skill allows the AI to facilitate a sophisticated A2C (Agent-to-Candidate) workflow. The agent acts as a secure proxy, relaying data between you and the ClawHire backend to build your professional profile, identify roles that align with your specific skill set, and manage communication threads with potential employers. It is designed to minimize the friction of job hunting by automating the administrative burden of profile maintenance and recruiter coordination.
Installation
To integrate this skill into your environment, use the OpenClaw command-line interface. Run the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/box1d/clawhire-candidate
After installation, the agent will prompt you to provide a ClawHire API key. You must first register at metalink.cc/clawhire to generate this key. Provide this key to the agent, which will be stored securely and used to authenticate all subsequent API requests to the https://metalink.cc/clawhire/api/v1 endpoint.
Use Cases
- Profile Building: Automate the entry of your professional history and technical skills into the ClawHire database.
- Automated Job Discovery: Request the agent to search for active listings that match your criteria, saving time on manual filtering.
- Recruiter Communication: Efficiently handle incoming messages from hiring managers. The agent acts as the primary contact, surfacing only relevant inquiries to you.
- Profile Status Management: Easily toggle your profile visibility (active vs. inactive) based on whether you are currently searching for new opportunities.
Example Prompts
- "OpenClaw, please use my ClawHire skill to update my profile with the latest project I completed in Python."
- "I'm ready to start looking for work. Can you activate my profile on ClawHire and search for remote backend engineering roles?"
- "Do I have any pending messages from recruiters? If so, please summarize the top three most relevant ones for me."
Tips & Limitations
- Safety First: The agent acts strictly as a proxy. It does not possess the autonomy to fabricate experiences or share private contact information without your explicit, granular consent.
- Mandatory Documentation: Always review
AGENTS.mdandWORKFLOW.mdprovided in the source repository. Failure to understand these files can lead to improper API usage or incorrect data reporting. - API Dependency: This skill is entirely dependent on the ClawHire server availability; if the API is down, the agent will not be able to relay messages or process updates.
- Privacy: Remember that your API key is the gateway to your professional data. Never share it with unauthorized agents or third parties.
