twitter-bookmark-sync
Automatically ranks your Twitter bookmarks daily and delivers a curated reading list
Why use this skill?
Automatically rank and organize your Twitter bookmarks with OpenClaw. Receive daily, personalized reading lists and stop letting your saved tweets go to waste.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/tunaissacoding/twitter-bookmark-syncWhat This Skill Does
The twitter-bookmark-sync skill is a powerful automation tool designed to tame the chaos of your Twitter bookmarks. By leveraging the bird CLI and local machine intelligence, it monitors your saved tweets, ranks them based on your evolving personal interests, and distills them into a coherent, actionable reading list. Unlike static bookmark folders that collect digital dust, this agent continuously learns your reading preferences, reinforcing what you find valuable while allowing irrelevant content to decay in priority. Every morning, you receive a curated report—a personalized summary that turns passive scrolling into high-signal learning.
Installation
To install, ensure your macOS environment is prepared with Homebrew and the bird CLI installed. Begin by executing clawdhub install twitter-bookmark-sync in your terminal. Navigate to the installed directory and run the provided ./install.sh script, which will verify your timezone and establish the necessary cron jobs. You must then configure your Twitter authentication by extracting your auth_token and ct0 cookies from your browser’s Developer Tools and placing them into ~/.config/bird/config.json5. Finally, adjust your ~/clawd/twitter-bookmark-sync-config.json to define your preferred delivery channel, such as Telegram, Slack, or Gmail.
Use Cases
This skill is perfect for researchers, developers, and knowledge workers who frequently bookmark long-form threads, technical documentation, or industry news on Twitter. It is specifically useful for those who suffer from 'bookmark hoarders syndrome,' where valuable information is saved but never revisited. By surfacing these items in a morning briefing, the skill ensures you actually process the content you deemed important.
Example Prompts
- "OpenClaw, run a manual sync of my Twitter bookmarks right now and send the summary to my Slack channel."
- "OpenClaw, show me my top 5 most relevant bookmarks from the last 48 hours based on my recent interests."
- "OpenClaw, adjust my configuration to send the daily reading list to my email instead of Telegram."
Tips & Limitations
For the best results, interact with your bookmarks naturally; the agent performs best when it has a consistent history of your activity to analyze. Note that the ranking criteria file (twitter-bookmark-sync-criteria.json) is managed automatically by the system’s internal models—manual edits may corrupt the learning process. Always ensure your browser cookies are refreshed if the tool fails to authenticate, as Twitter security tokens can expire periodically.
