tronlink
Work with TronLink wallet - manage TRX and TRC-20 tokens, stake for energy/bandwidth, vote for super representatives, and interact with TRON dApps.
Why use this skill?
Automate your TRON blockchain operations with the TronLink skill. Manage TRX and TRC-20 tokens, track resources, and monitor governance votes effortlessly via OpenClaw.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/sakaen736jih/tronlinkWhat This Skill Does
The TronLink skill for OpenClaw provides a powerful, automated interface for interacting with the TRON blockchain. It allows users to bridge their AI agent with their TronLink wallet to perform essential DeFi operations. Whether you are managing native TRX, handling TRC-20 tokens like USDT or USDC, or participating in network governance, this skill abstracts the technical complexity into simple, executable commands. It supports checking balances, viewing historical transaction data, managing energy and bandwidth resources, and voting for Super Representatives.
Installation
To integrate this skill into your environment, run the installation command through the OpenClaw terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/sakaen736jih/tronlink. Ensure your system has the tronpy Python library installed to handle blockchain interactions. You will need your TRON wallet address configured within your environment variables to allow the agent to fetch accurate data via the TronGrid API.
Use Cases
This skill is designed for both casual DeFi users and advanced developers. A common use case includes monitoring your portfolio health by querying token balances across multiple assets automatically. It is also ideal for power users who need to manage network resources; you can use the agent to calculate if you have enough energy for smart contract interactions or bandwidth for simple transfers. Additionally, for governance participants, the agent can monitor Super Representative voting status, ensuring your staked TRX is effectively contributing to the network.
Example Prompts
- "Check my current USDT balance on Tron and tell me how much energy I have remaining for contract calls."
- "Show me the last 5 transactions from my wallet and identify which ones were TRC-20 token transfers."
- "List the Super Representatives I am currently voting for and their respective vote counts."
Tips & Limitations
Always ensure your API node settings in the TronLink configuration are pointing to reliable endpoints like TronGrid. Note that the agent operates on read-only public blockchain data by default; sensitive operations like signing transactions should be handled with extreme caution and verified manually. Be aware that the network requires a 14-day lock-up period when freezing TRX for resources, so plan your liquidity accordingly. The agent relies on external network connectivity, so maintain a stable internet connection to ensure up-to-date data retrieval.
