leo-wallet
Interact with Aleo blockchain - check balances, view transactions, and explore the privacy-focused network. Works with Leo Wallet addresses.
Why use this skill?
Integrate Leo Wallet with OpenClaw to easily query Aleo blockchain data, check balances, track transactions, and manage your private Leo projects.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/sakaen736jih/leo-walletWhat This Skill Does
The leo-wallet skill for OpenClaw is a powerful interface designed to interact with the Aleo blockchain. It provides comprehensive tooling for users and developers to query data from the Aleo network, including checking wallet balances, inspecting transaction statuses, and analyzing block data. By integrating with the Aleo Explorer API and the snarkOS/Leo CLI ecosystems, this skill allows users to monitor their privacy-focused assets and development projects directly through their OpenClaw agent. Whether you are checking the latest network height, auditing a smart contract's state, or managing local Leo project builds, this skill serves as your gateway to the Aleo ecosystem.
Installation
To integrate this skill into your environment, use the OpenClaw command-line interface. Run the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/sakaen736jih/leo-wallet
Ensure you have snarkOS and the Leo CLI installed on your machine to utilize the full scope of local development and node management capabilities. Installation instructions for these dependencies are provided within the skill's setup documentation.
Use Cases
This skill is highly versatile, supporting both casual users and developers. Common use cases include:
- Asset Tracking: Quickly view balances associated with any Aleo address by tapping into the explorer mapping data.
- Network Monitoring: Stay informed about the current block height and network status to verify transaction processing times.
- Transaction Auditing: Fetch specific transaction details by ID to confirm state transitions on the blockchain.
- Smart Contract Development: Streamline your workflow by building, running, and deploying Leo language programs directly via the agent, simplifying the transition from code to chain.
Example Prompts
- "Check the current balance of address aleo1rhgdu77hgyqd3xjj8ucu3jj9r2krwz6mnzyd80gncr5fxcwlh5rsvzp9dx and give me a summary."
- "What is the most recent block height on the Aleo Testnet3, and can you fetch the details for that block?"
- "Start a new Leo project named my_defi_app and run the main program to verify the local build."
Tips & Limitations
Because Aleo is a privacy-focused network, some data is deliberately obfuscated; not all transaction details will be public. Ensure your internet connection is stable, as the API endpoints depend on reaching the Aleo Explorer. Always verify the network status (Testnet3 vs Mainnet) before executing queries. Remember that while this tool facilitates interacting with the network, managing private keys requires extreme caution—never share your APrivateKey1 with anyone or any untrusted agent instance.
