Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/okaris/character-design-sheetWhat This Skill Does
The character-design-sheet skill acts as your primary engine for achieving visual consistency in AI-generated media. Instead of relying on random noise, this skill leverages structured prompting, reference sheet generation, and LoRA workflows via the OpenClaw platform. It empowers creators to move beyond one-off images by providing a systematic approach to character anatomy, color palettes, and stylistic persistence. By generating standardized turnaround sheets and expression sets, you ensure that your character remains recognizable across diverse poses, lighting conditions, and narrative scenarios.
Installation
To install this skill, run the following command in your terminal within the OpenClaw environment:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/okaris/character-design-sheet
Once installed, ensure your infsh credentials are configured by running infsh login to allow the skill to execute generation tasks through the inference CLI.
Use Cases
- Game Development: Generating consistent character assets for visual novels or 2D platformers.
- Comic Book Illustration: Maintaining character features across panels using a unified style guide.
- Animation Pre-production: Creating model sheets that can be handed off to animators or used as a reference for consistent generation.
- Concept Art: Defining a character's aesthetic, clothing, and color profile for creative projects.
- Brand Mascot Design: Ensuring your avatar or mascot looks identical on a website, social media, and marketing materials.
Example Prompts
- "Create a character reference sheet for a cyberpunk detective with a metallic mechanical arm, full turnaround, front and side views, sharp digital painting style."
- "Generate an expression sheet for my character 'Eris' showing happy, angry, surprised, and stoic emotions on a neutral gray background."
- "Help me define a consistent character style guide for a fantasy warrior, including a color palette and clothing details so my future generations look identical."
Tips & Limitations
To maximize effectiveness, always maintain a detailed 'character bible' text file. When using the skill, provide highly specific details about unique hair patterns, eye colors, and clothing textures to anchor the model. The most significant limitation is that pure prompting has a consistency ceiling; for long-term projects, you should pivot to training a custom LoRA on your character sheet data. Always use clean, white backgrounds during the initial generation phase to make future background swapping or image-to-image refinement easier. If consistency drifts, return to your original reference sheet and use it as a static anchor in your new prompt generations.
