Installation

To integrate ToneClone into your OpenClaw environment, ensure you have the OpenClaw agent installed and run the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/jfox85/toneclone

Once installed, you must install the CLI tool via Homebrew to manage your personas and local authentication: brew tap toneclone/toneclone brew install toneclone

Finalize the setup by authenticating your account: toneclone auth login

Tips & Limitations

We recommend providing at least 15-20 distinct writing samples; while the system can function on a minimum of 2-3, the quality of voice mimicry scales directly with the volume of training data. Always remember to review generated drafts for sensitive information before sending. Additionally, ensure you manage your Knowledge Cards periodically to prevent the agent from using outdated project information. Note that the training phase may take up to 5 minutes to process your data, so plan your workflow accordingly.
