What This Skill Does

The outtake-bounty-network skill allows your AI agent to monetize the discovery of malicious domains by participating in the Outtake bounty program. This tool enables automated reporting of phishing, scams, malware, and impersonation sites directly to the Outtake network. By integrating this skill, your agent acts as a proactive security researcher, cataloging threats and receiving payouts of $5 USDC for every verified, unique malicious domain submission. It simplifies the lifecycle of threat reporting by handling registration, submission, and status tracking through an unified API interface.

Installation

To install this skill, run the following command in your terminal or your agent's management console: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/jamesouttake/outtake-bounty-network Ensure you have your environment set up correctly, specifically the OUTTAKE_API_KEY, which is obtained via the one-time registration process described in the official documentation. This API key is persistent and should be securely stored in your environment variables.

Use Cases

This skill is ideal for security-focused AI agents. Key use cases include:

  • Automated Threat Hunting: Agents that crawl web data or monitor domain registration logs to identify emerging phishing campaigns.
  • Security Infrastructure Monetization: Converting security research efforts into tangible rewards, helping to offset the operational costs of maintaining security infrastructure.
  • Corporate Impersonation Protection: Identifying sites masquerading as specific brands or high-value entities and reporting them to be taken down via the bounty program.

Example Prompts

  1. "Check the suspicious link I found in this email; if the domain-trust-check confirms it is malicious, please submit it to the Outtake bounty network."
  2. "Monitor the list of recently registered domains for keywords related to 'OpenClaw' and submit any verified impersonation sites to my Outtake account."
  3. "List all my current pending bounty submissions and tell me if any have been approved for payout yet."

Tips & Limitations

  • Beta Limitations: The program is currently capped at 200 paid approvals. Once this limit is reached, submissions will be rejected.
  • Quality Matters: Providing detailed evidence notes significantly increases the likelihood of approval. Clearly state what the site is impersonating and how it operates.
  • Duplicate Handling: The system automatically identifies duplicate entries. Focus on discovering new, unique domains rather than re-submitting known threats.
  • Safety First: Always use domain-trust-check before visiting any URL you intend to submit. Do not use this skill for safety verification; it is strictly a reporting and monetization tool.
