Period Tracker
Privacy-first menstrual cycle tracking. Auto-learns periods, symptoms, and patterns.
Why use this skill?
Track your menstrual cycle, symptoms, and health patterns privately with OpenClaw. This adaptive, local-first skill learns your unique biology.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/periodWhat This Skill Does
The Period Tracker skill for OpenClaw is an advanced, privacy-first menstrual health assistant designed to adapt to your unique biology rather than imposing generic medical standards. Unlike standard applications that force a rigid 28-day cycle, this skill treats every user as an individual case. It learns your specific patterns, whether you have a regular, irregular, PCOS, or perimenopausal cycle. The core philosophy is user-driven data: the agent only logs information you explicitly provide, ensuring you maintain complete control over your sensitive health data. By leveraging local memory storage, the agent builds a personalized profile that maps your symptoms, cycle length, and behavioral correlations without ever assuming a 'normal' baseline for you.
Installation
To begin tracking your cycle securely, use the following command in your OpenClaw terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/period
Ensure that you have appropriate write permissions for the directory where your personal OpenClaw data is stored, as the skill will generate a ~/period/memory.md file to maintain your history.
Use Cases
- Cycle Monitoring: Effortlessly log period start and end dates. The skill adapts as it gains data, understanding the natural variance in your cycle length over time.
- Symptom Tracking: Keep a private log of symptoms like cramps, fatigue, or mood shifts. The skill only records these when you explicitly mention them, allowing for a longitudinal view of your health patterns.
- Pattern Recognition: Over time, the agent can identify shifts in your health markers, such as specific symptoms occurring consistently during the luteal phase, helping you better understand your body's signals.
- Adaptive Support: Whether you are actively trying to conceive or simply want to understand your health better, the skill modifies its interaction level based on your preferences, from low-interaction logging to more proactive tracking.
Example Prompts
- "My period started today, can you log that for me?"
- "I'm feeling really fatigued and having mild cramps today."
- "Can you show me my cycle summary and any patterns you've noticed lately?"
Tips & Limitations
- Privacy First: All data is kept local and encrypted. You are the sole owner of your data. You can inspect or delete the
memory.mdfile at any time. - Non-Diagnostic: This skill is an organizational tool, not a medical professional. Always consult a healthcare provider for severe pain, life-disrupting symptoms, or significant, sudden deviations from your established baseline.
- User-Led: The agent will not speculate on missed periods unless you bring it up, nor will it assign mood changes to your cycle unless you establish that connection yourself. It respects your privacy and agency at all times.
