The Music skill for OpenClaw is designed to transform your chaotic collection of scattered music recommendations, concert memories, and listening habits into a structured, searchable personal knowledge base. By utilizing a dedicated file workspace in ~/music/, this skill maintains a living catalog of your sonic life. It acts as an intelligent archivist: when you mention a song in conversation, the agent suggests saving it to your queue; when you need background music for coding, it recalls your preferred focus tracks; and when a favorite artist announces a tour, it alerts you to upcoming events. The skill encourages a habit of intentional listening by tracking your discovery history, physical vinyl collection, and emotional connection to music over time.

The skill is limited by your input; it functions as a personal assistant, not a streaming service client, so it does not replace Spotify or Apple Music, but rather sits alongside them as your personal music 'brain'. Use the 'Progressive Enhancement' approach to build your database incrementally rather than trying to backfill everything at once.
