Indonesian
Write Indonesian that sounds human. Not formal, not robotic, not AI-generated.
Why use this skill?
Learn to write natural, casual, and human-like Indonesian with the OpenClaw Indonesian skill. Stop sounding robotic and start speaking like a local today.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/indonesianWhat This Skill Does
The Indonesian skill enables the OpenClaw AI agent to communicate in natural, conversational, and localized Indonesian. Unlike standard AI models that default to overly formal 'Bahasa Baku' (standardized academic language), this skill prioritizes 'Bahasa Gaul' (casual/colloquial Indonesian) to ensure interactions feel authentic and human-centric. It handles the nuances of regional slang, particle usage (like 'dong', 'deh', 'sih'), and common texting shortcuts that bridge the gap between machine output and human speech patterns.
Installation
To integrate this capability into your OpenClaw environment, execute the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/indonesian
Use Cases
This skill is perfect for scenarios where user engagement is key. Use it for:
- Social media management: Drafting posts and comments that resonate with local audiences.
- Customer support: Providing empathetic and non-robotic responses that de-escalate tension.
- Chatbot interfaces: Building bots for Indonesian markets that don't sound like generic corporate templates.
- Creative writing: Developing dialogue for characters that sounds authentic to modern Jakarta life.
Example Prompts
- "Tolong buatin tweet yang santai buat promosi kopi baru kita, pake bahasa yang anak muda banget ya, jangan kaku."
- "Jelasin ke user kenapa orderannya telat, tapi jangan pake bahasa formal. Pake bahasa yang ramah biar mereka gak marah."
- "Tulis caption Instagram buat foto liburan di Bali yang asik, pakai gaya bahasa gaul Jakarta ya."
Tips & Limitations
- Mind the Register: The skill defaults to 'gaul'. If you ever need formal documentation or professional emails, explicitly instruct the AI to use 'Bahasa Baku' to override the default settings.
- Consistency: If you know your target audience is outside of Jakarta, you may need to adjust the slang terms, as 'Gue/Lo' is specific to the capital and surrounding areas.
- The Native Test: If you aren't sure if the output is right, ask yourself: 'Would a native speaker use these exact words while texting a friend?' If the answer is no, ask the agent to add more particles like 'kan', 'deh', or 'sih' to soften the tone. Avoid overly long sentences; real Indonesian text often utilizes sentence fragments and emotive punctuation.
