What This Skill Does

The Hype skill empowers OpenClaw users to interact directly with the Hyperliquid L1 blockchain. It provides a comprehensive interface for managing perpetual futures trading, liquidity provisioning, and account management. By leveraging the Hyperliquid L1, the skill enables near-instant execution, zero-gas trading fees, and transparent on-chain order books. Users can manage cross-margin positions, deposit and withdraw USDC via Arbitrum, monitor funding rates, and participate in HLP vaults or HYPE token staking.

Installation

To integrate this skill into your OpenClaw environment, execute the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/hype Ensure your system is configured to access the OpenClaw repository and you have the necessary API credentials for the Hyperliquid L1 environment if using programmatic features.

Tips & Limitations

• Cross-Margin Awareness: Remember that your entire account balance acts as collateral. A single aggressive trade can trigger liquidations across all open positions. Always maintain sufficient margin buffer.
• Bridge Constraints: Deposits only support native USDC via Arbitrum. Attempts to bridge from Ethereum mainnet or using USDC.e will result in transaction failures.
• Market Conditions: Always check liquidity and open interest before executing large orders to avoid unexpected slippage.
• Safety: Always utilize the Hyperliquid testnet environment to validate trading bots and automation scripts before deploying capital into live production environments.
