German
Write German that sounds human. Not formal, not robotic, not AI-generated.
Why use this skill?
Make your AI sound like a native German speaker. Learn to use modal particles, casual register, and natural flow to avoid robotic, stiff translations.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/germanWhat This Skill Does
The German skill transforms your OpenClaw AI's output from stiff, machine-translated German into natural, native-sounding speech. Instead of relying on rigid "Hochdeutsch" that screams "AI-generated," this skill integrates modal particles (like "halt," "doch," and "mal"), correct informal registers (the use of "du" over "Sie"), and authentic fillers. It helps the agent sound like a real person chatting on Discord, Slack, or email, rather than a textbook.
Installation
To integrate this skill, run the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/german
Use Cases
Use this skill whenever you need to engage with German speakers in a non-academic environment. It is perfect for:
- Community management on German-speaking forums or Discord servers.
- Customer support interactions where a human, relatable touch is preferred over corporate stiffness.
- Creative writing, scripts, or casual email correspondence.
- Social media engagement that requires a native "vibe" to build trust.
Example Prompts
- "Schreib eine kurze, lockere Nachricht an einen Kunden, dass wir die Deadline um zwei Tage verschieben müssen. Es sollte nicht zu steif klingen, einfach nur ehrlich."
- "Wie sage ich einem Freund auf Deutsch, dass ich heute Abend doch keine Zeit habe, weil ich total erledigt bin?"
- "Antworte auf diesen Kommentar in einem lockeren, Berliner Stil: 'Ich finde dein Projekt echt hammer, weiter so!'"
Tips & Limitations
To get the best results, always define the context. If you are writing for a professional audience, specify "semi-formal" to ensure the AI doesn't go overboard with slang. Remember that German regional dialects are distinct; if you need Austrian or Swiss German, explicitly state that in your prompt, as the skill defaults to standard casual German. Avoid using this skill for highly legal, medical, or official government documents, as the natural casual register might undermine the gravity of those communications. Always check the final text; while the skill is great at mimicking flow, the human "native test" is the ultimate safeguard. If it sounds like a bot, just ask the agent to add more particles or shorten the sentence structure.
