Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/daily-plannerWhat This Skill Does
The Daily Planner skill transforms your OpenClaw agent into an intelligent, proactive scheduling assistant. Designed to act as your chief-of-staff, it helps you manage your professional and personal life by balancing calendars, energy levels, and long-term commitments. It moves beyond simple to-do lists by implementing a sophisticated, profile-aware system that understands your specific needs as an executive, student, founder, or freelancer. The agent organizes your workflow using a robust file-based storage system, ensuring your data remains persistent and actionable across sessions. From morning briefings that distill your day into essential objectives to intelligent commitment tracking that logs promises made during conversations, the Daily Planner handles the cognitive load of project management so you can focus on execution.
Installation
To integrate the Daily Planner into your OpenClaw environment, execute the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/daily-planner
After installation, the system will initialize the ~/planner/ directory structure, where it will store your configuration, current daily plans, and commitment logs.
Use Cases
- Deep Work Protection: Use the agent to block off periods in your calendar for focus, automatically filtering out non-critical interruptions.
- Commitment Management: Automatically extract tasks and deadlines from ongoing chats to ensure no promise or follow-up is ever forgotten.
- Energy-Based Planning: Match your most demanding tasks to your peak energy windows, leaving administrative tasks for lower-energy periods.
- Weekly Review Cycles: Maintain long-term alignment by summarizing achievements and adjusting the following week’s strategy based on historical data.
Example Prompts
- "Plan my day: I have a client meeting at 2 PM, but I need to focus on the project proposal before lunch."
- "I promised to send the design files to Sarah by Thursday; can you log that and remind me on Wednesday?"
- "Am I overcommitted for this week? Review my calendar and suggest what I should move to next week."
Tips & Limitations
- Tip: Always define your profile in
profiles.mdearly; the agent performs significantly better when it understands your role constraints. - Tip: Utilize the 'Top 3' rule strictly to prevent daily goal bloat.
- Limitation: The agent requires consistent interaction to keep the
commitmentsandtodayfiles accurate; ensure you check in during the requested morning and evening windows.
