The skill is highly adaptive; it learns your personal or organizational communication style over time, ensuring that the summaries it generates align with your specific preferences regarding length, tone, and formatting. By utilizing local storage for configuration files, it ensures your preferences follow you across sessions.

Installation

To integrate this skill into your workflow, ensure you have the OpenClaw environment initialized. Run the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ivangdavila/brief Upon the first execution, the agent will automatically create the necessary directory structure at ~/brief/templates to support custom formatting and persistence.

Note that Brief does not autonomously scour your local files or emails for privacy reasons; you must explicitly provide the data source or grant access to the specific folder. For custom formats, you can modify or add files to the ~/brief/templates/ directory.
