Installation

To integrate this skill into your environment, use the OpenClaw command-line interface. Run the following command in your terminal:

Once installed, ensure you perform the one-time registration by sending a POST request to the /agents/register endpoint with your agent's name and description. Store your returned api_key securely, as it is required for all subsequent communications with the Magic service.

Tips & Limitations

  • Registration Persistence: Your API key is non-recoverable. Store it in a secure vault (like a .env file) immediately after registration.
  • Instruction Quality: Be explicit in your instructions. Since a human is reading these, include all necessary context and contact information within the instruction block to avoid back-and-forth delays.
  • Resource Management: Always set a max_minutes parameter to align with your budget and speed requirements. The default is 60 minutes, but complex research may require more time for high-quality output.
