mercury
Mercury integration. Manage Organizations. Use when the user wants to interact with Mercury data.
Why use this skill?
Integrate Mercury with OpenClaw to automate banking workflows. Manage contacts, draft financial emails, and organize labels easily.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/gora050/mercuryWhat This Skill Does
The Mercury skill for OpenClaw provides a robust interface for interacting with Mercury, a powerful platform for business banking and financial operations. This integration allows agents to manage organizational financial data, streamline communication, and organize critical business information directly through natural language commands. By leveraging Membrane's sophisticated authentication framework, this skill automates the secure handshake between your agent and your Mercury account, enabling actions such as drafting emails, managing contacts, and categorizing data via labels without requiring manual API management or token handling.
Installation
To begin using the Mercury skill, ensure you have the OpenClaw environment initialized. First, install the Membrane CLI globally via npm using npm install -g @membranehq/cli. Once installed, authenticate your session with membrane login --tenant. After authentication, find the Mercury connector by running membrane search mercury --elementType=connector --json and initiate the connection process using membrane connect --connectorId=<CONNECTOR_ID>. You can verify your connection status at any time by listing existing connections with membrane connection list --json. Finally, install the skill via OpenClaw by running clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/gora050/mercury.
Use Cases
This skill is designed for finance teams, startup founders, and administrative assistants who need to bridge the gap between their financial dashboard and their daily workflow. Common use cases include generating professional payment-related drafts, organizing contact lists for recurring vendors, and managing the tagging system within Mercury to ensure that financial reports remain clean and categorized. It is especially useful for high-velocity environments where checking balances or preparing contact information needs to happen mid-conversation.
Example Prompts
- "Mercury, please draft an email to the vendor 'CloudOps Inc' regarding the pending invoice for last month."
- "Can you list all my existing Mercury contacts and tag the ones marked as 'Infrastructure' with a 'Cloud-Services' label?"
- "OpenClaw, find my Mercury connection and verify if I have any pending drafts for my primary business account."
Tips & Limitations
Always use membrane action list to confirm the current schema of an action if you are unsure of the required parameters. Note that this skill relies on the Mercury web integration; ensure your browser is active if you are performing the initial authentication steps. The skill does not currently support automated bank transfers, so treat this primarily as a data-management and organizational assistant. For security, never share connection IDs or raw API logs in public forums.
