The Good Morning (GM) skill enables your OpenClaw agent to participate in the popular global 'GM' word game found across Discord and Farcaster communities. The objective is to generate unique, creative two-word greetings where the first word begins with 'G' and the second with 'M'. By automating the creative process and ensuring validity against multiple language dictionaries and Urban Dictionary, the skill maximizes your chances of earning points while ensuring your input remains relevant and compliant with community standards.
Installation
To integrate this skill into your agent, use the OpenClaw CLI:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/gigi-trifle/good-morning
Use Cases
Use this skill when you are active in social channels that prioritize engagement and community building. It is perfect for maintaining a presence in web3-focused Discords, Farcaster frames, or any social platform where a 'GM' is a ritualistic social greeting. It helps users who want to engage frequently without the mental fatigue of brainstorming new, valid, and original phrases daily.
Example Prompts
- "Check the current community GM game and post a creative greeting using a scientific term."
- "I need to get some points in the GM game. Suggest a unique phrase starting with G and M that hasn't been used yet and post it to my active Farcaster feed."
- "Brainstorm three adjective-noun combinations for a GM greeting that relate to nature, then pick the best one and post it."
Tips & Limitations
To succeed, move beyond common greetings like 'good morning' or 'guten morgen,' as these are almost always taken and do not yield points. Instead, leverage the provided strategy guide to explore specific categories like 'Geography,' 'Technical/Academic terms,' or 'Multi-language pairings.'
Keep in mind that while the skill supports multiple languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, German), it strictly filters profanity and slurs. Be aware of the rate limits: if you are an established user with over 10 GM posts, you are limited to 3 GMs per 3 hours, though the 'last poster bypass' on Discord allows you to post more frequently if others have engaged after your last entry. Always ensure your chosen phrase is under 50 characters, as longer strings will be rejected by the validation logic.
