Installation

Installation is streamlined through the ClawHub package manager. To get started, execute clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/clawdiaeth/x-engagement in your terminal. Ensure your environment is prepared with the necessary Python dependencies for the bird CLI and the xai-sdk. Before going live, navigate to your X account settings under 'Automation' to register your agent’s account with the required transparency label, linking it to your primary operator account to reduce the risk of account suspension.

Tips & Limitations

To ensure longevity, prioritize velocity over volume; posting hundreds of low-effort tweets will trigger automated spam detection. Always use the official X API for posting if possible, as it is the only supported method for enterprise-level volume. The bird CLI should be treated strictly as a tool for reading and data extraction. Never attempt to bypass rate limits by cycling IP addresses, as this will lead to a permanent account ban. Finally, ensure you are tracking your historical replies to prevent embarrassing duplicate responses in the same thread.
