Installation
To integrate this skill, use the OpenClaw command-line interface. Ensure your environment is configured with a valid Maton API key before proceeding. Install the skill by running: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/byungkyu/google-slides. Once installed, set the MATON_API_KEY environment variable in your terminal session. To finalize the handshake, you must create a connection via the controller service; obtain your connection URL from the /connections endpoint and authorize it in your web browser. This ensures that the agent has the necessary permissions to perform operations on your behalf.

When working with this skill, always ensure your connection status is set to 'ACTIVE' at https://ctrl.maton.ai before executing complex scripts. Note that the Google Slides API is highly granular; complex formatting requires specific JSON payloads that conform to the Google Slides API structure. Always verify your connection_id to avoid sending requests to the wrong presentation scope. If you require functionality outside of standard presentation management, such as exporting to PDF, you may need to use the api-gateway skill to call additional Google Drive or Drive Export endpoints. Keep your API key private and rotate it regularly to maintain the integrity of your automated workflows.
