quickintel-scan

Scan any token for security risks, honeypots, and scams using Quick Intel's contract analysis API. Use when: checking if a token is safe to buy, detecting honeypots, analyzing contract ownership and permissions, finding hidden mint/blacklist functions, or evaluating token risk before trading. Triggers: 'is this token safe', 'scan token', 'check for honeypot', 'audit contract', 'rug pull check', 'token security', 'safe to buy', 'scam check'. Supports 63 chains including Base, Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Tron. Costs $0.03 USDC per scan via x402 payment protocol. Requires an x402-compatible wallet — recommended: managed wallet service (Sponge, AgentWallet) with no raw key exposure. Programmatic signing with dedicated hot wallet also supported. This skill is read-only and never accesses your tokens or assets.

What This Skill Does

The quickintel-scan skill provides comprehensive token security analysis using the Quick Intel contract scanner. It allows your OpenClaw agent to audit tokens across 63 different blockchains, including Ethereum, Base, Solana, and more. The skill acts as a proactive defense mechanism, evaluating contract source code for malicious patterns such as honeypots, hidden minting functions, blacklists, and high-risk tax structures. It operates on a pay-per-scan model ($0.03 USDC) via the x402 protocol, ensuring that transactions are transparent and that your agent never requires direct access to your asset-holding keys.

Installation

To install this skill, use the ClawHub CLI in your agent environment. Run the following command in your terminal: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/azep-ninja/quickintel-scan

Ensure your agent is configured with an x402-compatible wallet (such as Sponge or AgentWallet) before running the command to ensure seamless payment processing during API calls.

Use Cases

This skill is essential for users interacting with decentralized finance (DeFi) markets. Key use cases include:

  1. Pre-trade Due Diligence: Scanning tokens before committing capital to identify potential scams.
  2. Honeypot Detection: Determining if a contract allows buyers to purchase but prevents them from selling.
  3. Ownership Analysis: Checking if a contract has been renounced or if the owner has privileged functions to manipulate supply or blacklist wallets.
  4. Risk Assessment: Providing a quick, summarized report on tax rates and liquidity health to help you avoid predatory tokens.

Example Prompts

  1. "Is this token safe to buy? Check the contract: 0x5a3e144c185122e23d132646d299446c650117d2 on Base."
  2. "Can you run a rug pull check on this contract and let me know if there are any hidden minting functions?"
  3. "Is this project a honeypot? I'm looking at the token address 0x123... on Ethereum."

Tips & Limitations

  • Safety First: Never trade based solely on a scanner; use this as one of many data points in your research.
  • Wallet Setup: Use a dedicated hot wallet for agent payments rather than your primary cold storage wallet.
  • Chain Inference: If you forget to specify the chain, the agent will attempt to infer it, but providing it explicitly saves time and increases accuracy.
  • Read-Only: This skill is strictly read-only and will never move, stake, or interact with your existing token holdings.

Recommended wallet integration: Sponge (SPONGE_API_KEY) or AgentWallet (AGENTWALLET_API_TOKEN) — no raw private keys needed. This skill is a transaction builder and never accesses your private keys or tokens.
