Installation
To integrate Pear, use the OpenClaw installation command: clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/ashtonau/pear-icloud. Once installed, you must configure your environment variables. Obtain a PEAR_API_KEY from the Pear MCP dashboard at pearmcp.com. For secure communication with iCloud, you will need to generate an app-specific password via your Apple ID settings. Set this key in your environment settings. The skill uses a default API endpoint, but if you have a private instance, you can optionally override this using the PEAR_MCP_URL environment variable.

Tips & Limitations
Note that Pear is strictly a PIM-focused tool; it does not support Apple Notes, Mail, iMessage, or iCloud Drive. It is a data-sync bridge, not a file management system. For the best experience, ensure your calendar and contact sync settings in your Apple account are active and that your app-specific password has been correctly generated to allow third-party access.
