Humanod
Give your AI agent hands in the real world. Hire verified humans for physical tasks, data collection, and physical verification via the Humanod network.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/armandobrazil/humanodWhat This Skill Does
Humanod acts as a physical bridge for your AI agent, enabling it to outsource real-world tasks to a verified human workforce. By leveraging the Humanod network, your agent can move beyond digital processing and interact with physical environments. Whether it is verifying storefront status, capturing real-time photography of specific locations, or performing local data collection that cannot be automated via web scraping, Humanod provides the necessary infrastructure. It handles the escrow of funds, task dispatching, and proof verification, ensuring that your agent receives reliable, human-verified data directly into its workflow.
Installation
To integrate this skill, use your terminal to execute the following command within your OpenClaw environment:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/armandobrazil/humanod
Once installed, you must configure your API key. Obtain your key from the Humanod Developer Dashboard, then set the HUMANOD_API_KEY environment variable in your agent's configuration file to authorize the connection.
Use Cases
- Hyper-Local Verification: Agents can verify the status of physical infrastructure, such as checking if a restaurant is currently open or confirming if a specific sign is posted at a building entrance.
- Ground Truth Data Collection: Use the agent to collect high-quality, authentic photos of properties, landmarks, or street conditions for market research and real estate analysis.
- Event Observation: Have a human agent monitor a local event in real-time, providing textual summaries or photographic proof of the crowd density or speaker presence.
- Logistical Tasks: Perform small physical errands that require a human presence, such as retrieving physical documents or checking on local conditions for supply chain logistics.
Example Prompts
- "Check if the local electronics store at 456 Tech Avenue is currently open by hiring a worker to take a photo of their hours sign."
- "I need a ground-truth photo of the facade for the property at 789 Maple St. for my market analysis; use Humanod to dispatch a photographer."
- "Verify if the parking lot at the convention center is full by sending someone to take a quick photo of the entrance."
Tips & Limitations
- Pricing Strategy: Always set a competitive budget for your tasks. Tasks with higher, fair-market payouts are picked up much faster by the Humanod network.
- Precision is Key: When writing task descriptions, be hyper-specific with your
validation_criteria. If you need a specific angle for a photo, mention it explicitly to avoid requesting revisions. - Budget Management: Keep an eye on your wallet balance using
getWalletBalance. Since Humanod involves real money, ensure your funding source is adequately topped up before dispatching large batch operations. - Limitations: Remember that this skill relies on the physical presence of workers. Tasks in very remote or low-population areas may take significantly longer to fulfill or may not be accepted.
