content-strategy
When the user wants to plan a content strategy, decide what content to create, or figure out what topics to cover. Also use when the user mentions "content strategy," "what should I write about," "content ideas," "blog strategy," "topic clusters," or "content planning." For writing individual pieces, see copywriting. For SEO-specific audits, see seo-audit.
Install via CLI (Recommended)
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/alirezarezvani/cs-content-strategyWhat This Skill Does
The content-strategy skill transforms OpenClaw into a professional content marketing strategist. It is designed to bridge the gap between business objectives and actionable content production. By leveraging your existing product context, the skill identifies high-impact content pillars, maps out topic clusters, and categorizes content based on its primary function: being searchable (SEO-driven) or shareable (thought leadership/viral). It helps you avoid content dilution by keeping your output strictly aligned with your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and specific product outcomes.
Installation
You can integrate this skill into your OpenClaw environment by executing the following command in your terminal:
clawhub install openclaw/skills/skills/alirezarezvani/cs-content-strategy
Use Cases
- Building a long-term content calendar from scratch.
- Identifying content gaps where competitors are underperforming.
- Converting high-level business goals into specific blog topics or landing page ideas.
- Auditing an existing content library to determine why current pieces are failing to drive traffic or leads.
- Refining content strategy to better serve multiple customer personas without diluting the brand voice.
Example Prompts
- "I'm building a new B2B SaaS platform for project management. We have no content yet. Can you propose a 3-pillar content strategy and 10 initial topics?"
- "We've been writing blog posts for six months but aren't seeing any search traffic growth. Can you look at our recent articles and tell me if we have a searchable versus shareable imbalance?"
- "My competitors are all writing generic 'how-to' guides for marketing teams. How can we use our unique customer research to create content that builds more authority?"
Tips & Limitations
- Context is King: Always ensure
.claude/product-marketing-context.mdis populated. The quality of the strategy is directly proportional to how well the agent understands your specific product and customer pain points. - Don't skip the research: The agent is proactive; if you don't provide data, it will ask for it. Answering the questions regarding sales call objections and support ticket patterns will lead to significantly higher-converting content.
- Distinctions: Remember that this skill focuses on planning and strategy. For the actual drafting of the articles, use the copywriting skill, and for deep technical SEO audits, defer to the seo-audit skill.
