What This Skill Does

Installation

Once installed, ensure you have a valid Linode/Akamai API token. Set this token as an environment variable LINODE_TOKEN in your agent's configuration profile to enable secure authentication with your cloud account.

Tips & Limitations

Always follow the principle of least privilege when generating your Linode API token; ensure the token only has the permissions necessary for the agent's tasks. Note that this skill requires an active internet connection to communicate with the Akamai/Linode API. Because it performs direct infrastructure modifications (like deleting instances), always ensure your agent has proper guardrails or human-in-the-loop verification enabled before executing destructive commands. Keep your local scripts updated by pulling the latest version from the OpenClaw repository to ensure compatibility with API updates.
